OVERLAND, MO (KMOX)-The search is on for the man who went into an Overland home this morning and beat the man and woman living there.
Police Chief Mike Laws says it happened between 7:00 and 8:00 AM at a home in the 2200 block of Spencer but wasn’t reported until about 9:30, “Both parties were injured. It does not appear to be life threatening, it wasn’t like they were stabbed or shot or anything like that. They were injured and they were both transported to the hospital.”
Laws says the suspect is a 25 to 30-year-old, tall, muscular black man who was wearing a blue uniform-style shirt with a white stripe.
He says it’s not known yet if anything was stolen.
