ST. LOUIS (AP) - A man suspected of trying to rob a St. Louis fast-food restaurant, while apparently drunk, is in jail.
The intoxicated suspect walked into a south side White Castle around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday and ordered cheeseburgers. While the order was being prepared, he announced a robbery and said he had a gun.
A worker sounded an alarm and the suspect ran out of the business. Police say they found him stumbling around a short time later.
No one was hurt and charges are pending.
