“If I learned anything last summer, it’s go big or go home.”
That’s how The Muny Executive Producer Mike Isaacson describes his most important insight into his first season at the Producing helm of The Muny. And the titles for the 2013 season prove that Isaacson is taking the lesson to heart.
Arguably the biggest title just announced for 2013 at The Muny is Cameron Macintosh’s landmark hit, “Les Miserables,” now celebrating 25 years in production all over the world.
Other titles in the seven show season will include “Mary Poppins,” “Spamalot,” “Nunsense - Muny Style!,” “Shrek – The Musical,” “South Pacific” and “West Side Story.” The season will feature four shows that have never been seen at The Muny before.
“There has never been a better time to become a Muny season ticket holder,” say Denny Reagan, The Muny’s President and CEO. “Whether you see a Muny premiere or one of the classics, the 95th season is going to provide a summer of exciting entertainment.”
Season tickets for The Muny new season go on sale March 9, 2013. Single tickets go on sales June 1st.
“These are seven big, bold shows,” commented Isaacson.
You can say that again.
