Lake St. Louis Man Convicted of Killing Two

ST. LOUIS (AP) — A Lake St. Louis man has been convicted of killing two men in St. Louis in 2010.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 28-year-old Ladon Grissom began crying and loudly proclaiming his innocence as the second-degree murder verdict was announced Thursday in St. Louis Circuit Court. He had to be removed from the courtroom by deputies.

Grissom was convicted in the fatal shootings of 46-year-old Terrence Snipes and 41-year-old Demetrius Hewlett. Police said the men were shot while crossing street. No motive for the shooting was presented at trial.
