ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The special election to fill the aldermanic seat being vacated by Kacie Starr Triplett will be held on the regular dates already set for the primary and the general election.

Thats because the vacancy is occurring less than 180 days prior to the general election.

Candidates can file for the election on Monday November 26th.

The primary is March 5th.  The general election is April second.
