Timothy Rogers
FLORISSANT, Mo. (KMOX) – A man trying to help out his buddy was shot in the throat last night.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney has charged Timothy Rogers with First Degree Assault and Armed Criminal Action.
The shooting happened in Florissant where Rogers and the victim spent their Sunday night drinking at Olympic Lanes on New Halls Ferry.
When the victim suggested Rogers was unfit to drive home and offered to take him, police say Rogers pulled a gun and shot the would-be Good Samaritan in the throat.
The 36-year-old victim is hospitalized in stable condition following surgery.
Rogers, turned himself in at the Florissant Police Department. Rogers has been transferred to the St. Louis County Jail, where he will be held on a $50,000.00 bond.
