KANSAS CITY, Mo. (CBS St. Louis) — The Kansas City Chiefs may have suffered their tenth loss this season at the hands of the Denver Broncos and their star quarterback Peyton Manning on Sunday, but that didn’t stop some players from getting chummy with their AFC West foes following the game.
The team’s star running back Jamaal Charles and wide receiver Dwayne Bowe approached the future Hall of Fame quarterback after their 17-9 loss to get Manning’s autograph and picture.
KCTV cameras caught Charles asking Manning for his autograph in the sport complex’s parking lot. Charles explained that he got it for his mom.
Bowe, on the other hand, admitted that he just wanted his picture taken with Manning.
“It’s Peyton Manning,” Bowe told the station. “Who wouldn’t want a picture with him?”
Manning threw for 285 yards and two touchdowns in the game.
