ST. LOUIS (AP) - A suspect is in custody and no one is hurt after an incident in St. Louis in which a police officer fired six shots at the suspect who allegedly tried to run down officers.
It happened around 3 a.m. Tuesday as officers were trying to stop a suspicious vehicle. Police say an officer opened fire as the suspect tried to ram the police cruiser. No one was struck by any of the six shots, but the suspect’s car struck a pole while trying to flee.
The suspect was taken into custody. Police have not release further details.
