CLAYTON, MO. (KMOX) – They’re calling him the serial apartment burglar.   22 year old Joseph Rankins is allegedly responsible for over sixteen burglaries in St. Louis County.

The burglaries occurred between September of last year through January 7th.

Rankins was caught by County police with burglarizing an apartment in the Norwood Court Apartment Complex .

Rankin has confessed to numerous burglaries and said he did it to support a heroin addiction.

He is held on 170-thousand dollars cash only bond.
