LADUE, Mo. (KMOX) – Ladue Police are hoping to get a key piece of information later today in who sent that Instagram message that put all schools in the district on high alert Thursday.
Police served a warrant Friday on Instragram, the popular social media website where the threat was posted, including a picture of the Sandy Hook shooter, Adam Lanza.
Its taken a little longer than investigators had hoped, because Instagram doesn’t list a phone number. Authorities are hoping the company is one that retains postings, if so, they might be able to trace it back to an IP address unless the poster has successfully covered their tracks.
