TOWN & COUNTRY, Mo. (KMOX) — Police are searching for a person who robbed the First Bank near the intersection of Woods and Clayton Roads Wednesday.
Town and Country detectives say the suspect, which has an unknown race and gender, walked into the bank at 383 Lamp & Lantern around 12:48 p.m. and demanded money. They indicated they had a weapon but did not show one. Then fled the area on foot leaving with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police described the suspect as being in their mid 20’s to early 30’s, 5’ to 5’3” with a slender build. Police also noted that the suspect had a lower toned voice and was wearing make up on their face and hands.
In addition, the suspect was wearing dark rim glasses, a dark hooded jacket over a light colored top, and dark colored pants. They also were carrying a purse.
