ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The St. Louis Cardinals have agreed to contracts with all arbitration-eligible players after agreeing on a one-year contract with third-baseman David Freese.
Freese, 29, was the 2011 World Series and National League Championship Series Most Valuable Player. He started 132 games last year, hitting .293 with twenty home runs and 79 runs batted in.
Freese was acquired by the Cardinals in December 2007 via a trade with the San Diego Padres for outfielder Jim Edmonds.
