On this 10th anniversary of the murder of Nan Wyatt I spoke with Nan Mills. She and her husband adopted Drake and she chatted with me about how his life is these days.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – It was 10 years ago today that KMOX lost a member of its family under tragic circumstances.
Nan Wyatt was fatally shot in her home by her husband, Thomas Erbland Jr.
Wyatt’s son Drake was just 7 at the time, and many have wondered how he’s fared since.
Nan Mills, Wyatt’s mother told her daughter’s former Total Information AM co-host, Doug McElvein that Drake is just shy of 6 feet tall and that his favorite sport is golf.
“He’s out and about, knows a lot of people and he is just really outgoing like Nan was. He kind of inherited that trait from her I think.”
Wyatt’s parents adopted Drake after her death.
Mills says Drake is attending St. Mary’s High School and has spent much of the past decade traveling around the country with them.
Thomas Erbland Jr. will be in jail until at least 2030, when he’ll be eligible for parole at age 70.
