Nobody’s complaining but, so far, it looks like this month’s Great Plains Storm Part Two is going to skip the St. Louis area.
As a new winter storm bears down on the central Plains, emergency power company crews are already on the job and schools and businesses are closing for the day both Monday and Tuesday.
With a foot of snow on the ground from last week’s storm, this new storm moving in from Texas to Oklahoma and Kansas could deliver up to 15-inches more.
Kansas City is set to take a hit again but current forecasts call for the storm to head north, to Chicago, instead of St. Louis.
The St. Louis forecast shows only rain with the possibility of a few flurries.
