Chaifetz Arena
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - It’s going to be quite a weekend for the “set-up” and “tear-down” crews at Chaifetz Arena. Officials say they have five transformations planned in a 48-hour span.
Following Friday night’s concert by the British rock band Muse, they’ll break apart a mammoth set and lay down the court for Saturday afternoon’s St. Louis University Billikens basketball game against La Salle.
In a span of 90 minutes, they must clear the floor after the game, and set up for a show by comedian Mike Epps on Saturday night.
By Sunday morning, they’ll need to have the venue arranged for an elementary school cheer competition.
Then, it’s back to a basketball floor for Billikens practice on Monday.
