2 in Custody Following High Speed Chase from St. Charles to North Co.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) — Two out of three suspects involved in an early morning high speed chase and crash are in custody.

The Missouri Highway patrol said the chase began around 2:40 a.m. Friday when police attempted to pull over a car in St Charles. The suspects took off reaching speeds of more than 100 mph.

Officials say the chase ended about 20 minutes later when the suspects’ car ran off the road at Pershall and New Halls Ferry Road.

All three suspects in the car took off running, but two were caught and arrested. The Missouri Highway Patrol said one of the suspects now in custody was the driver.

No word on why police were trying to pull over the car in the first place.
