Arrest Made in Girl’s Shooting

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A Ferguson man with previous gun and drug convictions, has been charged with Thursday night’s shooting of a four-year-old girl in south St. Louis.

Twenty-three-year-old Nathaniel Pool is charged with six counts of first-degree assault and seven counts of armed criminal action.

Investigators say Pool opened fire on a group of people at Louisiana and Itaska from a passing car. One bullet hit the girl in the shoulder as she and her mother walked up the front steps of a nearby house.

The girl was treated and released.
