Couple Mugged on the Street, Suspects Demand to Know Where They Live

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — What started as a south St. Louis street robbery, ended with the suspects going to the victims’ apartment and stealing a computer and a car.

Police tell KMOX two suspects approached a man and woman as they walked to a convenience store on Grace Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Friday.

After turning over their cellphones and some money one of the suspects asked where they lived. The female victim told them.

The victims were then held at gunpoint while another man went to the woman’s apartment and stole her computer and car.

The couple’s roommate was at the apartment, but was not hurt.
