Arrest Made In Washington Park Murder Case

WASHINGTON PARK, Ill. (AP) – A 22-year-old East St. Louis man has been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a 17-year-old Washington Park man.

The Belleville News Democrat reports ( ) that the St. Clair County State’s Attorney charged Sybhonn Eubanks on Saturday.

Eubanks is accused of killing Tramond Davidson after firing multiple gunshots into a car in which Davidson was riding on Wednesday night.

St. Clair County Coroner Rick Stone said Davidson was shot in the head, chest and abdomen. Davidson died while his brother was taking him to the hospital.

Eubanks was being held in the St. Clair County jail in lieu of $1 million bail.
