It’s hard to find a modern equivalent to Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell, but the originals will be on display up on the big screen at The Hi Pointe Theater this weekend.
As part of their classic film series, The Hi Pointe will be showing “His Girl Friday” from 1940 one time only at 10:30 AM Saturday, May 11. Admission is $5 dollars per person.
“His Girl Friday” was directed by Howard Hawks. It’s a marital comedy about a newspaper editor trying to keep his ex-wife, who also happens to be his best reporter, from re-marrying. The film runs 1 hour and 32 minutes. The Hi Pointe features digital projection and sound, and a new state-of-the-art screen.
The regular attraction currently showing at The Hi Pointe is the mega-hit “Iron Man 3″ in 3-D. For more information on the Hi Pointe, click on the link below.
