Police Make Arrest In Maplewood Bank Robbery

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) –  A suspect’s now in custody in connection with Monday’s hold up at a Maplewood bank.

Arrested Tuesday was 31-year-old Anthony Wilson of Richmond Heights, who was taken into custody outside Lumiere Casino on the landing.

A man wearing a ball cap and what appeared to be a fake beard walked into the PNC bank on Big Bend Monday afternoon and handed the teller a note announcing a robbery.

A weapon was implied but not shown, and the man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say information provided by witneses helped them track down and arrest Wilson, who’s being held on $50,000 bond.
