CLAYTON, MO (KMOX) - One of three men accused of kidnapping and abusing two teens they accused of being gay is scheduled to stand trial in Clayton this morning.

Walter Worthan and the others allegedly taped the 16 and 17-year-olds to chairs, beat them, threw them down stairs, burned them with cigarettes, forced them to wear women’s clothing, and made them shower together and kiss each other. Investigators say the suspects then posted videos and pictures of the acts on Facebook.

It all allegedly happened in Worthan’s Northwoods home in October of 2011.

Northwoods police say the two victims were only released after they cried, begged, and pleaded.

Worthan is charged with two counts each of felony kidnapping, sexual exploitation of a minor, felonious restraint, and misdemeanor assault.
