ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — So what prescription drugs will be the most in demand by the end of 2015?

St. Louis-based Express Scripts put together a three year forecast and found drugs to treat specialty conditions like cancer, MS and rheumatoid arthritis will increase 67 percent.

And the nation will be spending more treating hepatitis C than high blood pressure — with Hep C drug expenditures quadrupling by 2015. New and improved drugs will enter the market in 2014, which will create in uptick in usage, Express Scripts officials report.

Also — medications to treat diabetes and attention deficit are expected to see spending increases by 25 percent over the next three years.
