ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A woman shot in her home and a man shot on his motorcycle are the two latest victims of area gun violence.

Police say Patricia Singleton was in her home on Chambers just west of Halls Ferry at about 11:45 Tuesday night when someone opened fire from her driveway. She was hit by at least one of the numerous shots fired into her home and was pronounced dead at the scene. She was in her early 20’s.

Meanwhile, in the city’s College Hill neighborhood at about 11:00 p.m.  21-year-old Anthony Douglas was found partially straddling his motorcycle on Obear Ave., just north of Grand. He had been shot numerous times. Witnesses reported hearing numerous gunshots but didn’t see anything.

Detectives have not pinned down motives for the killings.
