4 Workers Survive Brush With Death Dangling from SSM Building

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Mo. (KMOX) – Crews are trying to figure out what went wrong after scaffolding collapsed sending four window washers dangling by safety harnesses five stories off the ground.
It happened shortly after 10:00 a.m. at SSM Saint Mary’s Health Center on Bellevue and Ethel.
Three of those workers managed to climb through open windows to safety, while one had to be rescued by the Richmond Heights Fire Department.
