(CAHOKIA, IL) – The St. Clair County Sheriff’s office is looking for the hit-and-run driver, who left a nine-year-old boy critically injured.

The accident happened around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, while the boy was riding his bike in the 2400 block of Lorraine Drive in the unincorporated area of Cahokia.

The possible vehicle involved is described as a late 90’s silver or gray Pontiac Grand Am, Grand Prix or Chevrolet Malibu.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office at (618) 277-3504.
