Twitter’s Jack Dorsey Kicking Off Speaking Series in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The co-founder of tech companies Twitter and Square is going on tour, starting in his hometown of St. Louis.

He spoke at the Clinton Global Initiative earlier this year about his innovations but Jack Dorsey’s “Let’s Talk” series is about your innovations.

The series is described as an in-depth conversation with St. Louis local business owners about growing small businesses and strengthening the community.

The local business owners invited to the talk are Sump Coffee owner Scott Carey, Whisk Bakeshop owner Kaylen Wissinger, Cherokee Street Bikes owner Jeremy Schwartz, and Scarlett Garnet Jewelry co-owner Katie Miller.

The series starts here on August 29 but will travel the country, from New Orleans to New York.

The tour is organized by Square, the company Dorsey founded which let’s you use your smartphone to swipe a credit card.
