ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — Investigators in St. Louis County are looking for a man who held up a 7-11 and then a Subway restaurant this month, both times showing a semi-automatic handgun.
The first incident happened August 11 at the 7-11 in the 8000 block of Mackenzie.
St. Louis County Police say on that date the suspect walked into the convenient store around 2:30 a.m. displayed the weapon and demanded money. The clerk complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The second incident the man walked into a Subway in the 4300 block of Butler Hill Rd, Monday evening and did the same thing.
In both cases he wore a red bandana over a portion of his face, dark sunglasses and a dark hat.
A Subway employee watched him walk to a vehicle, which was described as a green or dark beige Grand Cherokee.
Police described the suspect as a fat white man, 30 to 40 years old, approximately 5’3″ to 5’5″ and weighing about 250 pounds.
