St. Louis City Ambulance Catches Fire

St. Louis (KMOX) An ambulance crew for the city of St Louis dropped a patient off at St Mary’s Hospital in Richmond Heights this (Sunday) morning. And when they returned to their ambulance–they found it on fire.

Richmond Heights Firefighters-who just happened to be driving by-put the fire out.

Sources say the ambulance was damaged beyond repair. The cause of the fire-believed to have started in the engine compartment-is not yet known.

There were no injuries.
