Hopefully you have been following the team and I for our exciting A to Z events! This past week I had the privilege to take a tour of the St. Louis Transportation Museum. From the engine of a trolley, the deck of a tugboat, to the hood of your favorite hot-rod, this museum provides a history to every means of transportation. Their collection consists of over 190 showpieces, and is even home to the world’s largest successful steam locomotive! Many of the cars are bread from Saint Louis, and after a tremendous makeover, have been restored to working condition.
Tour guides were available to answer any and all questions, and even let me have a little sneak peek for their plans this winter! Grab your bells, whistles, and mittens because hopefully the Famous Barr Christmas train will be on display this Christmas! The St. Louis Museum of Transportation was a truly moving experience and educational trip through time. Also, be sure to keep your eyes open for the next A to Z and Mighty Mox team adventure to Pi Pizzaria and the Saint Louis Zoo.
