ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A nearly 100-foot-long street collapse in St. Louis has crews working around the clock.
The gaping hole in the pavement is about ten feet wide and ten feet deep in places.
It’s on North Broadway between Warren and Montgomery. Officials say fire suppression water lines broke under the pavement and washed out the substructure.
Crews have to go underground to determine whether sewer and gas lines may have been effected as well.
They say repairs could take weeks. Traffic will be funneled into one lane in each direction.
