UMSL Students Robbed Near North St. Louis County Campus

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — Several University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL) students were robbed Friday morning, near the north St. Louis County campus.

Police tell KMOX the students were walking on Natural Bridge Road near Hanley Road at about 1:45 a.m. when two suspects got out of a Chevrolet Camaro and approached the students. One suspect pulled out a gun and hit a student, according to police.

Then the suspects got back in the car, which was driven by a third person, and fled.

The student refused medical treatment. There’s no word yet what, if anything, was taken.
