Suspect in St. Louis Hills Car Break-Ins Still at Large

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — One of two men caught stealing items from cars near the city’s St. Louis Hills neighborhood early Thursday morning is in custody, after being tased while resisting arrest.

Police say the two entered at least six unlocked cars in the 5800 blocks of Walsh St. and Delor St.

Officers chased them through the neighborhood, catching one, a 20-year-old white man, in a backyard on Walsh. The other suspect got away.

One officer suffered a hand injury in the struggle.

Police say the two were carrying backpacks.
