ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A familiar face to Blues general manager Doug Armstrong and coach Ken Hitchcock from their days with the Dallas Stars will be joining them in St. Louis.

The Blues announced Monday that forward Brenden Morrow has signed a one-year contract.

The 34-year-old Morrow played 13 seasons with the Stars and was acquired by Pittsburgh for the playoffs last season.

He has 542 points in 850 career NHL games.

Morrow won a gold medal with Team Canada in the 2010 Olympics.
