MANCHESTER, Mo. (KMOX) - Police in Manchester are looking for a group of men who allegedly tried to abduct a 15-year-old and her dog Monday.
Police say it happened around 3:30 p.m in the 500 block of Enchanted Parkway.
The driver of a red Pontiac Grand Am first drove past the girl and waved. She waved back. Then the driver turned the car around and approached the girl from behind.
Police Sergeant Dan Rehm says the driver ordered the girl into the car, but she refused. As she began to walk away another suspect jumped out of the car and grabbed her. There were allegedly five suspects in the car.
“She thought he was pushing her back to the car,” said Rehm. “At that time her dog became spooked and barked, then another car drove by.”
Rehm says the suspects drove a red Pontiac Grand Am with a spoiler. The car also has a faded paint job and the rear windows are tinted.
The victim described the driver as being either white or Hispanic, about 5’9″ and 150 pounds with short black hair.
