BOSTON, Mass. (KMOX) - Rarely has a rookie burst on the postseason the way Michael Wacha has.

This young right-hander, almost unhittable lately, is the talk of October. He’ll start Game 2, facing hitters who have never seen him.

Wacha told media Tuesday in Boston that he dreamed of playing in the World Series while growing up playing baseball in his backyard with his two brothers.

Wacha became only the third rookie pitcher in history to be named the NLCS MVP after he started and won games two and six against the Dodgers.
