O’FALLON, IL. (KMOX) – Illinois residents, wishing to learn about the state’s conceal carry law, can attend a seminar in O’fallon Wednesday night.
There are plenty of misconceptions, says Representative Dwight Kay, Like the cost and training requirements. He says people have asked him whether they have to get a permit for each weapon.
“When you apply for a permit you will be qualified or certified with respect to the one weapon that you wish to carry.” Representative Kay told KMOX News.
He also says unlike Missouri, where you have an option to have your conceal carry permit on your drivers license, in Illinois it will have to be on a separate card.
Wednesday night’s seminar is at the O’fallon Public Library beginning at 6:30 P.M.
