ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) - Last week’s hold up of a St. Louis area PNC bank has prompted the bank to offer a $20,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
The PNC bank branch in 4100 block of S. Grand was robbed last Tuesday at about 10:38 a.m., in what the FBI is calling a “take over style robbery.”
“They go in and they order everybody down, everybody knows the bank is being robbed,” said FBI spokeswoman Rebecca Wu.
While she wouldn’t confirm the dye pack in the stolen money exploded, she said anyone who receives stained bills should take it as a clue the money was stolen.
PNC is offering the $20,000 reward because during the course of the robbery one of the suspects assaulted a teller.
