Brennan’s 25th Anniversary Roast Raises $10,000 for Boys & Girls Club
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – It was a sold out crowd of over 200 people last night at Charlie Brennan’s 25th Anniversary Roast at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery.
Charlie, celebrating 25 years on the air was able to withstand the onslaught of jabs and slams that traced his career from the time he walked through the doors at KMOX to today.
The panel doing the jabbing, made up of some rascals and scallywags from Donny Brook and KMOX’s silver tongued Kevin Killeen.
They showed no mercy in dissecting Brennan piece noting the high and the lows, but it was all for a good cause.
Over $10,000 was raised for the Mathews-Dickey Boys’ & Girls’ Club.
The Club serves more than 40,000 young men and women, ages 5-18, throughout the St. Louis-metropolitan area. The Club also serves as a meeting center for various community, social and business organizations and as an outreach resource center for troubled youth.
