COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMOX) – The Missouri Tigers football team woke up SEC East division champs on Sunday morning and still ranked fifth in the Associated Press Top 25.

Voters have Mizzou trailing #4 Alabama by a mere 13 points. The Crimson Tide fell from the top spot, thanks to a last-second loss to Auburn in Saturday’s dramatic SEC West showdown.

The A.P.’s “Top Three” this week are: Florida State, Ohio State, and Auburn.

In this week’s USA Today coaches poll, Missouri jumped up one spot, from sixth to fifth.

BCS rankings will be released Sunday night.
