One Killed, Several Injured in North St. Louis Crash

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) –Police are unraveling a tangled web of details, following a deadly crash, Saturday afternoon, where a driver fled the scene.

Officers say the 36-year-old man lost control of the wheel of his SUV at Page and Pendleton, and his vehicle clipped the front bumper of an oncoming car.

The SUV rolled and landed on the driver’s side door.

A passenger, identified as 38-year-old Wilson Brown Jr. of St. Louis County, died at the scene.

Another passenger, a 51-year-old man, is listed in guarded condition.

Police say the SUV driver was later tracked down at a hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.

The driver and occupants of the car were only slightly-injured.
