ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Missouri Department of Transportation crews continued, Saturday morning, plowing roadways and applying a mixture of beet juice and salt, as one to four inches of snow has fallen in the St. Louis region.
District maintenance engineer Becky Allmeroth says she expects most main roads to be clear by midday, Saturday.
She suggests delaying any travel until the afternoon hours.
Allmeroth commends road crews for their work in battling what started as rain, then turned to freezing rain and sleet, and finished with snow.
