ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The St. Louis Blues will be without the services of their top scorer for an indefinite period of time.

General manager Doug Armstrong announced Saturday that Alexander Steen has a concussion and will be placed on injured reserve.

Steen left last Saturday’s 6-0 win against the Edmonton Oilers in the second period and did not return. The team described his injury at that time as an upper-body injury.

Through 35 games this season, Steen has 24 goals and 14 assists (38 points).
