Shootings Before and After New Year’s Midnight

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A New Year’s Eve shooting in north St. Louis left one person critically injured.

Police say a 30-year-old man was shot while driving around 10:30 p.m. at Bircher and Union. Police have not been able to talk to the victim and have no suspects.

Meantime, at about 2:40 a.m. Wednesday, two people were shot inside a car in the 4300 block of McRee. One man was shot in the neck, another in the hip.

Both were hospitalized in serious condition.
