Firefighter’s Wife Steals Wallet, Medication From Other Firefighter

GRANITE CITY, Ill. (KMOX) – A firefighter’s wife is facing charges of burglary after stealing a wallet and medication from another firefighter’s vehicle.

Sara Copper, 27, was charged Thursday with felony burglary of a motor vehicle according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.

She is being held in the Madison County Jail on a $75,000 bond.

According to the Belleville-News Democrat, Copper, the wife of a firefighter, broke into vehicles on the Mitchell Fire Department parking lot on Wednesday afternoon and stole a volunteer firefighter’s wallet and prescription medication.
