ST. LOUIS (AP) — About 200 couples are now engaged — or re-engaged — as part of an event celebrating the 250th anniversary of the founding of St. Louis.
The Burnin’ Love festival was supposed to take place on Valentine’s Day, but icy conditions forced it to be rescheduled for Tuesday. The festival on Art Hill in Forest Park is among several celebrating the big anniversary.
The “Lovin’ Moment” was the centerpiece of the night, and at that moment a 25-foot-tall flaming heart with the letters “STL” in the center was lit.
