Police Looking For Suspects In Attempted Child Abduction

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – Lake St. Louis Police are looking for two men in connection with an abduction attempt.
Around 6:25 a.m. on Thursday police received a call about an attempted abduction in the 100 block of Shire Drive off Missouri Route N.
According to police, a man in an older model, bright red pickup truck with a tonneau cover approached an 8-year-old boy and attempted to lure him into the vehicle by offering him candy. The boy went home and parents called 911.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his late teens or early twenties, slender, wearing a red baseball cap and a blue t-shirt.  The truck was also occupied by an African American male who was described as balding and wearing a green shirt.
