ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – He doesn’t wear the green paint anymore, but actor Lou Ferrigno doesn’t mind fans bringing up memories of his Incredible Hulk television show.

Ferrigno is in town – along with other pop culture icons like TVs Batman and Robin, as well as original Karate Kid Ralph Macchio – to take part in Wizard World St. Louis Comic Con 2014.

He says there’s something for just about anybody at this convention, “Older, younger, and very young, because we have teens on social media talking about it. It’ll draw ages 10 to about 90. It’s a lot of meet-and-greet, a very entertaining classic comic book convention.”

Ferrigno says advance ticket sales have nearly quadrupled from last year’s show. For more details on dates, times, and tickets for Comic Con St. Louis, click here.

Ferrigno is still active in Hollywood, he says, including a small part in the upcoming “Avengers Two” movie.

He’s also a deputy sheriff in California, working with Homeland Security issues.

Ferrigno was a guest on KMOX’s Charlie Brennan Show.
