ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - There’s a first time for everything.

World Cup soccer qualifiers Ivory Coast & Bosnia-Herzegovina will meet for the first time ever, Friday night, in a friendly match at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.

Ivory Coast tied Belgium 2-2 and Bosnia lost to Egypt 2-0 in previous friendly matches played this year.

This is Bosnia’s first time qualifying for World Cup play. They’re in a pod with Argentina, Nigeria, and Iran.

Ivory Coast made the tournament in 2006 and 2010, but failed to get out of first-round play. They’re in a pod with Colombia, Japan, and Greece.
