ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – (UPDATED 3:06 p.m.) A mother allegedly shot and killed her son first, then turned the gun on herself.
It happened Sunday on Plainview in the Lindenwood Park Neighborhood of Southwest St. Louis. Police responded to the home after receiving a call from a family member.
They found 60-year-old Jane Catanzaro dead and 30-year-old Christopher Catanzaro, both had gunshot wounds to the chest.
A motive has not been released.

St. Louis City Police say homicide detectives have been called in to investigate after two people were found dead inside a home in the 6700 block of Plainview Avenue.
Police say the two victims died from gunshot wounds. They say, at this time, the incident appears to be a murder-suicide.
The crime scene is near the Ted Drewes location on Chippewa.
